About Nina

Nina T. Pirrotti is a repeated recipient of Best Lawyers of America’s “Lawyer of the Year” and Top 50 Connecticut Super Lawyer. She is a member of the Executive Board of the National Employment Lawyers Association, a past president of the Connecticut Employment Lawyers Association, and a graduate of Yale Law School. Nina represents individuals in employment and civil rights litigation and negotiation, covering discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, contract disputes, FMLA, unpaid wages, severance agreements, and whistleblower claims. She has received numerous honors for her advocacy, including being elected as a Fellow to the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers (CLEL) Class of 2023. Before empowering employees, Nina prosecuted homicides and other violent crimes at the Queens County District Attorneys’ office. She is an experienced trial advocate with approximately 25 jury trials and 50 bench trials. Nina is a fellow of the American Bar Association (ABA) and serves on various committees, including the Local Civil Rules Advisory Committee for the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
