About Kathleen

Kathleen C. Chavez is a founding partner of Foote Chavez Law. She earned her JD from Northwestern University School of Law in 1998 and a BS in Finance from Northern Illinois University in 1995. Admitted to the Illinois bar in 1998, she has extensive litigation experience in multi-district litigation, federal and state civil litigation, and class action litigation. Her practice focuses on complex civil cases involving competition, consumer fraud, unfair trade practices, environmental, technology, trademark, qui tam, civil rights, breach of contract, RICO, employment, wage and hour, and insurance. She is a certified arbitrator, mediator, and AAA Employment Panel Arbitrator. Ms. Chavez has served in leadership roles in numerous complex civil litigation cases nationwide, with recoveries exceeding $7 billion.
