About Timothy

Timothy D. O’Neil is an Of Counsel attorney at Foote Chavez Law, with a quarter-century of legal experience in municipal law, workers’ compensation, personal injury, eminent domain, law enforcement organized labor, and complex litigation. He has served as city attorney for St. Charles and Batavia, and as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Kane County. He earned his undergraduate degree from St. Norbert College in 1978 and his law degree from Northern Illinois University in 1985, the same year he was admitted to the Illinois bar. He is also authorized to practice in the Northern District of Illinois in the U.S. District Court since 1991. He is a member of the Kane County Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
