About Kyle

Kyle J. Edwards is an associate attorney in family law, domestic abuse, and harassment cases. He earned his Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he received a 90% merit scholarship and was frequently named to the Dean’s list. Kyle has developed a strong foundation in advocacy and legal research, supplemented by practical experience from various legal settings. Previously, as a law clerk for the Honorable Jenese Larmouth in the Minnesota Judicial Branch, Kyle drafted district court orders, conducted legal research, and reviewed case files related to family law, domestic abuse, and harassment cases. Additionally, as a law clerk for the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office, he worked on both civil and criminal cases, sharpening is skills in legal writing, research and client interactions. Kyle’s dedication to legal advocacy is also evident in his role as a Certified Student Attorney at Mitchell Hamline’s Unemployment Law Clinic, where he successfully represented clients in unemployment appeals, including presenting oral arguments before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. In addition to his legal work, Kyle has a strong record of leadership and community involvement. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics from Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he actively participated in student organizations and community service. He received multiple scholarships for his academic excellence and leadership, along with three student-voted awards for community impact. In his personal life, Kyle enjoys running, cheering for whatever Minnesota sports team is playing, and spending time with his family. Kyle is passionate about using his legal skills to serve others and is committed to providing thoughtful and practical legal solutions. He continues to enhance his skill in both the public and private sectors, striving to make a meaningful impact in his legal career.
