Michael T. Ryan has been an attorney with the firm since 1982, successfully defending clients in a wide range of civil cases including professional liability, legal malpractice, construction claims, civil rights, wrongful death, governmental liability, products liability, and railroad liability. He has defended class action lawsuits, tried over twenty cases to verdict, and handled numerous appeals. He is a member of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates) and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He served as President of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association (2007-2008) and on the Public Service and Trust Commission for the Connecticut Judicial Branch. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America and named Stamford’s “Lawyer of the Year” in Personal Injury Litigation - Defendants in 2020.
