About Michael

Mike Robertson focuses his practice on civil defense litigation, including commercial transportation, construction law, premises liability, products liability, and the defense of common carriers. He has extensive jury trial experience in both Louisiana and Mississippi, including a defense verdict for a chassis manufacturer, the successful defense of a premises liability claim against a restaurant in the French Quarter, and the successful defense of an alleged drunk driver involved in an accident while driving a company vehicle. Mike received his law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 2008, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board, a semi-finalist in the annual Mississippi Moot Court Competition, and served as a Pupil in the Charles Clark American Inn of Court. Before law school, Mike attended Mississippi College where he served as President of the Student Government Association and was honored as the Mississippi HEADWAE Student of the Year. Mike is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Mississippi State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, New Orleans Association of Defense Counsel, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, and is a Notary Public. He is also a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance where he earned his Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) Designation, and he has received Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV Preeminent rating. Mike resides in New Orleans with his wife, Sarah, and their children. He enjoys traveling, dining throughout the city, and serving on the Leadership Team at Riverside Church and on the Board of the non-profit organization, NOTEP.
