Michelle Erica Smith joined Piro Zinna Cifelli Paris & Genitempo in 2013. She focuses her practice on estate planning, administration, and elder law, assisting clients with complex topics like Medicaid planning and Guardianship proceedings. She began her career as a Judicial Law Clerk for Judge Maureen B. Mantineo in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County, Family Part. After practicing matrimonial and family law, she earned an LL.M. in Taxation from New York Law School in 2012, specializing in estate and tax planning. She is admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania Bars and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Prior to the firm, she practiced with Levine DeSantis, LLC. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Delaware (2004) and a J.D. from Widener University School of Law (2007).
