Ralph Aucoin, Jr.’s practice includes personal injury litigation, insurance coverage, first party property coverage, third party disputes, bad faith/extra contractual, civil rights litigation, intellectual property, general civil litigation, contracts, premises liability, products liability, and trucking and transportation defense. He has argued motions and tried cases in both state and federal courts throughout Louisiana. As an appellate lawyer, Ralph has successfully argued in the Louisiana First, Second and Fifth Circuit Courts of Appeal and briefed to the Louisiana Supreme Court as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Ralph attended Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina where he graduated Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2004. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he moved back to New Orleans and earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in 2007. Ralph is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, 2011 Trial Academy and is a Notary Public. He was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 2007 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Ralph was also selected to the Louisiana Super Lawyers Rising Stars List for 2017. Ralph resides in New Orleans with his wife Amanda and their two daughters, Ella and Celeste.
