About Ramey
Ramey Ko focuses on providing personal, high-quality service at affordable rates for small and family-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and start-ups. He previously practiced housing and domestic violence law with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid and the Texas Advocacy Project. In 2010, Ramey was appointed the first Asian American judge in Austin and served as an Associate Municipal Judge through 2013. He currently teaches Business Law and Ethics in the MBA program at the Texas Health & Science University College of Business Sciences and previously taught Asian American Jurisprudence at the University of Texas at Austin. Ramey earned a B.A. in history from Yale University and graduated with honors from the University Of Chicago Law School. He enjoys cooking, trivia, and serving as Dungeon Master for his tabletop roleplaying group, and lives with his wife, Lauren Alexander, their plants, dogs Mycroft and Peanut, and cat Bogart.
