About Rob
Rob Gibson graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1989 and the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1992 with distinction. He began his career as a personal injury defense attorney before transitioning to plaintiff's injury work in 1996. In 2001, he co-founded Gibson & Hughes with Jeff Hughes. He has tried dozens of cases to verdict, covering wrongful death, auto accidents, slip/fall, trip/fall, construction site accidents, dog bites, and medical malpractice. Rob is a proud member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), serving on its Executive Board for the Orange County Chapter. He is also on the board of directors for the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, co-chair of the College of Trial Advocacy for the Orange County Bar Association, and an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of California. He was named Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2013.
