About Ryan

Ryan Sargent is the owner and founder of Sargent Law Firm Injury Lawyers. Ryan was born and raised in southern California. Ryan’s mission for his law firm is to help people who have suffered injury or death by providing access to the highest level of legal representation, medical treatment, and financial compensation. Ryan attended undergraduate at Point Loma Nazarene University, and received his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Ryan took both the California State Bar and Idaho State Bar, and is a licensed attorney in both California and Idaho. After law school Ryan started working at a personal injury law firm, and fulfilled his dream of starting his own law firm just three years later. Sargent Law Firm was founded in 2011, and has represented thousands of people, and obtained over $40,000,000.00 in settlements, judgments, and verdicts for clients. Ryan has also provided thousands of hours in pro bono legal work, and donates a portion of the firm’s profits to local non profit organizations. Ryan is known for his genuine empathy for his clients, and generosity in the community. His goal for the law firm is to help clients navigate the complexity and difficulty of an injury claim, provide the SLF team with a positive & fulfilling place to work, and give back to the communities in which he lives and works. While Ryan has been very successful in his legal career, he is most proud of being a devoted husband and wonderful father. He lives in Carlsbad, CA and Coeur d’alene, ID with his wife, Erika, daughter Aubrey, and sons Maverick and Lincoln. When Ryan is not practicing law, he enjoys surfing, running, mountain biking, BMX, coaching his kids’ teams, camping, and enjoying the outdoors with his friends & family.
