About Shannon

Shannon has been a valued team member of Porcello Law Offices since 2020. She received her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston and earned both her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and her Paralegal Certificate from the University of New Haven. During her time at New England Law, Shannon was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship and received the New England Scholar award for receiving a 4.0 in her final year of law school. As an active member of the Women and Children’s Advocacy Project during her educational tenure, she acted as the co-director for the Protective Order Project and worked to bring justice to families of deceased loved ones who were victims of violent crimes, now turned cold cases. For her pro bono work, she received formal recognition for on the school’s Public Service Honor Roll. Shannon has worked on cases involving child support, alimony, complex asset division, and Qualified Domestic Relations Orders. She has also assisted on multiple trials within the Essex Probate and Family Court, taking on the post-trial work with ease and dedication. Shannon recognizes and appreciates the emotional aspect involved in each unique family law matter, and understands that this process can be overwhelming. She takes a passionate but reasonable approach to each case and works tirelessly for her clients, helping her clients to feel heard, informed and supported. Shannon prides herself on being a zealous and tenacious advocate, always working to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.
