Represented Husband in a 10-year marriage divorce in Essex Probate and Family Court. Husband had significant pre-marital assets, which included several pieces of real estate, that he was looking to carve away from the martial estate. The agreement provided that the Parties would share both legal and physical custody of their children, that they would share equally the equity in their martial home, and that Husband would maintain his premarital assets.

Represented Mother in a Complaint for Custody-Support-Parenting Time in Essex Probate and Family Court. The issue was Father's drug and alcohol addiction. After several court appearances and drug testing, an order was obtained for regular drug screening of Father and supervised parenting time until a significant history of clean drug screens was established to ensure the safety of the child.

Represented Husband in a short-term (3 year) marriage divorce. Wife was looking for Husband to pay her credit card debt, which she claimed was incurred during the marriage. After a detailed review, it was determined that the expenses were not all marital. The matter resolved with each Party keeping their own debt and sharing equally the equity in the marital home once sold.

Represented Mother in a 5-year marriage divorce with two young children. Resolved numerous parenting issues, past due child support, and uninsured medical and extracurricular costs owed to Mother by Father. A full agreement was obtained at the Pre-Trial conference.

Child Support Modification, Alimony Modification

Represented Father in a Complaint for Modification in Essex Probate and Family Court. Father sought a change in his child support obligation after one of the three children came to live with him full time. It was determined that Father was also entitled to a modification of the amount of alimony he had been paying. The case resolved with Father maintaining physical custody of the child, terminating his alimony obligation, and significantly reducing his child support obligation.

Paternity, Child Custody, Parenting Time

Represented Father in a Complaint to Establish Paternity. Father had maintained a close relationship with his child despite living in a different country due to immigration issues. When the relationship with the Mother ended, she cut him off from seeing their child. Obtained joint legal custody for Father and a parenting plan with week day and weekend overnight parenting time. The matter resolved with the Parties sharing joint legal and joint physical custody, and a detailed holiday parenting plan.
