About Stephen
Stephen Burrow is a lifelong resident of Jackson County, Mississippi, and a partner at the firm. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University in 1988 and a Juris Doctor Degree from Tulane University in 1993, where he also served as Law School President. He is admitted to practice law in Mississippi and Alabama, including federal appellate and district courts and the U.S. Supreme Court. He holds an 'AV' rating from Martindale and has been recognized as a Mid-South Super Lawyer for business litigation for nine consecutive years, including 2024. His diverse experience includes serving as a judge pro tem for Pascagoula’s Municipal Court, a City Councilman, and Acting Mayor for Pascagoula. He was appointed to the Mississippi Ethics Commission by the Chief Justice of the Mississippi Supreme Court. Stephen's practice emphasizes Business Law, Business Development, Commercial Transactions, Business and Commercial Litigation, and Medical Malpractice Defense. He has successfully defended clients in high-stakes litigation and has been instrumental in revising Mississippi’s statutory regime for limited liability companies and corporations through his work with the LLC/Partnership Committee, Corporation Laws Study Group, and Business Organizations Study Group. He is also actively involved in community organizations, including coaching youth sports and the Mock Trial team for Resurrection Catholic High School.
