About Steven
Steven Kim acquired an Industrial Design and Law degree from Syracuse University. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, New Jersey and Federal District Court for the 3rd Circuit of New Jersey. Prior to law school, Steven was a Product Designer and designed consumer products and packaging for Johnson & Johnson, Becton Dickinson, Procter & Gamble, Gatorade and Digital Equipment Corporation. He founded a fragrance and lifestyle brand company and designed, developed, manufactured and distributed his own brand of Fragrance called MERGE which was sold at Sephora and Henri Bendel. Steven Kim loves design, branding and anything creative and entrepreneurial, which led him to become an IP lawyer. His notable work includes representing a Korean KPop group, "JEWELRY" as Kimora Lee Simmon's Phat Farm brand licensee, and working on Beyonce's Dereon brand with the same KPop group. Steven also worked as an in-house counsel on multiple start-ups, including an Independent Music label, and enjoys working with and advising start-up businesses.
