Our elderly client expressed interest in adopting a pitbull from a dog owner. Our client and the dog owner met at a park for a “meet and greet.” Our client poured water into a bowl then sat down on a nearby bench. The pitbull leapt up onto the bench and attacked her face, especially her eye, causing irreparable damage.
