Norfolk jury awarded a dental patient, Keith Riddick, $3 million plus pre-judgment interest for grave injuries due to a local dentist's negligence. The dentist failed to diagnose and treat an infection after a routine tooth extraction, leading to necrotizing fasciitis. Mr. Riddick was permanently disabled and must eat through a feeding tube.
