Notable Case Results
Case results reflect publicly available information reported by the listed law firms. They are not results obtained by ThatCarHitMe.com. Every case is unique and must be evaluated on its own facts. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. The results shown are not necessarily representative of all results obtained by these firms. No representation is made that the quality of legal services to be performed is greater than the quality of legal services performed by other lawyers.
Legal Malpractice
Bill, a retired lawyer, was sued by a couple who alleged legal malpractice, executor breach of duty, and contract breach. After six days of trial, a Middlesex County Judge, sitting without a jury, found that Bill had done no wrong.
Employment Law
Our law firm represented Plaintiff, a real estate agent, in seeking emergency relief from her employer’s restrictive covenant in their employment agreement after the employer constructively terminated Plaintiff’s employment. The basis of the constructive termination was the employer’s sexual harassment of Plaintiff. The employer settled the case as soon as the Plaintiff filed her Order to Show Cause. The case settled on terms favorable to Plaintiff.
Commercial Litigation
The law firm represented Plaintiff-Buyer in a civil action between two telecommunications companies, in which Plaintiff claimed $5 million in contract and fraud damages. We litigated the case in New Jersey Superior Court - Chancery Division and in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. We obtained substantial preliminary relief for our client on an Order to Show Cause, with temporary restraints, entered in the Chancery Division.
Constitutional Law
This case, taken before the Supreme Court of New Jersey, dealt with attorney advertising requirements and the freedom of speech.
Employment Law
Fred Funderbuck, a design expert for the Federal Department of the Interior, suffered from insomnia and headaches requiring flexible work hours. His new supervisor was inflexible and insensitive, leading to a disability discrimination claim. Through a negotiated approach, Fred was granted a transfer to a different section and a flex-time schedule, achieving a 100% favorable outcome without a federal EEOC proceeding or lawsuit.
Criminal Defense
Bethany, a freight forwarder, was charged on multiple counts of fencing stolen cars. We negotiated successfully for pretrial intervention, demonstrating her factual innocence. Our client served no jail time, paid no restitution, and will have an expunged record post-PTI.
