Jeff Stowman

Jeff Stowman has been recognized as a Minnesota Personal Injury Super Lawyer for over a decade (2007-2017) and a Top 100 Litigation Lawyer in Minnesota for 2016. David Stowman

James R. Hoy

James (“Jim”) Hoy is a shareholder at Maring Williams Law Office licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota. Duane A. Lillehaug

Duane A. Lillehaug's practice areas include personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance coverage disputes in both Minnesota and North Dakota. Duane grew up in rural Adams County, North Dakota, and graduated from high school in Lemmon, South Dakota. He received his undergraduate B.A. degree from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota, in 1971, and graduated, with distinction, from the University of North Dakota School of Law, Grand Forks, North Dakota, in 1975. After serving one year as a law clerk with the North Dakota Supreme Court, his practice has focused on trial law in North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota for over 40 years. Duane has served as President of the Minnesota Association for Justice, President of the Ronald N. Davies Inn of Court, and as a member of the Civil Trial Certification Council of the Minnesota State Bar Association. Aside from his service to the legal community, Duane is a past Chair of the Board of the Minn-kota Chapter of the American Red Cross, and was a member of the national organization’s Resolutions Committee. He has also served on and chaired the Midwest/North Central Regional Committee for the American Red Cross.

Lindsay M. Wilz

Lindsay (Harris) Wilz is a shareholder at Maring Williams Law Office in Bismarck, North Dakota. Lindsay is licensed to practice law in North Dakota and Montana, and she focuses her practice on oilfield litigation and medical negligence claims. Since 2016, Lindsay has been recognized as a “Rising Star” and “Super Lawyer” in the personal injury category by Super Lawyers. The American Association for Justice Women Trial Lawyers Caucus awarded her the Inaugural Trailblazer Award in 2024. The North Dakota Association for Justice also recognized Lindsay’s efforts by awarding her the Rising Star award in 2025. Lindsay attended North Dakota State University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and a minor in Mathematics. She then attended the University of North Dakota School of Law, being selected to the Order of Barristers and graduating cum laude. Following law school, Lindsay returned to her hometown of Bismarck and served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring of the North Dakota Supreme Court before joining Maring Williams Law Office. Kellen B. Bubach

Kellen Bubach joined the Maring Williams Law Office in 2020 to focus on helping people who have been injured or who have lost a loved one in an accident or as a result of medical malpractice. Kellen serves on the State Bar Association of North Dakota’s (SBAND) Joint Procedure Committee. Kellen is licensed to practice law in North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska. Following law school, Kellen began his legal career at the Finley Law Firm in Des Moines, Iowa, where he practiced for over eight years, primarily handling the defense of complex professional negligence cases. Kellen grew up in West Fargo, North Dakota. He attended Jamestown College where he competed on the men’s basketball team and graduated cum laude with a double major in Biology and Liberal Arts Business Studies, with a minor in chemistry. At Jamestown College, Kellen was a National Athletic Intercollegiate Association National Scholar Athlete and received the Kennedy S. Wanner Award. Kellen then attended the University of Iowa College of Law, graduating with distinction in 2011. While in law school, Kellen served as the Administrative Editor of the Journal of Corporation Law, competed in the Moot Court Competition, and served as a student judge for the appellate advocacy program. Kellen, his wife, and their two children live in West Fargo. He serves on the board of the Metro Area Tournament Committee.

David Maring was a partner at Maring Williams Law Office. He was inducted into the International Society of Barristers in 1996 and served as the Membership Chair for the State of North Dakota and as the President of the International Society of Barristers Foundation. He was recognized as a Great Plains Super Lawyer in 2012, 2015, and 2018.
