As a part of her employment law practice, Ms. Manzoor also counsels businesses in all aspects of labor and employment law compliance. In recent years, Ms. Manzoor’s experience has included representing hundreds of wildfire victims against Pacific Gas & Electric Company following the devastating Butte, Northern California and Camp Fires. Ms. Manzoor earned her B.A. in Economics and Spanish Translation from Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law where she served on the editorial board of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review. Amanda L. Riddle

Amanda L. Riddle

Amanda L. Riddle represents clients in various general and complex litigation matters, including business, employment, and mass torts. She also serves as the managing partner of our firm, overseeing all aspects of the business. Ms. Riddle leads mass tort disaster cases, focusing on wildfire and explosion cases arising from corporate wrongdoing. Ms. Riddle has repeatedly been appointed by courts to serve as liaison counsel and in leadership roles in mass tort cases, including the Eaton Fire Litigation, the PG&E Bankruptcy, the 2015 Butte Fire case, and the 2010 San Bruno Explosion case. Ms. Riddle leads various aspects of these litigations and was a member of the team that negotiated a $13.5B settlement for wildfire victims as part of the PG&E bankruptcy reorganization. To date, Ms. Riddle has represented over 6,000 victims and survivors of wildfires and explosions, securing over $1.5B in compensation for them. In 2013, Ms. Riddle was selected as a finalist for the Consumer Attorneys of California’s Woman Advocate of the Year Award for her exemplary work on the PG&E case. Ms. Riddle also manages the firm’s employment law practice. In addition to overseeing employment litigation cases, her extensive litigation experience provides a basis for counseling businesses on employment matters, as there is no better attorney to help a business avoid litigation, than a seasoned litigator. In 2008, Ms. Riddle co-founded the San Mateo County Bar Association Legal Clinic Committee, which provided on-site legal services to residents of Shelter Network and Samaritan House’s homeless shelters on the Peninsula.

Stevan N. Luzaich

With more than 43 years of legal experience, Stevan N. Luzaich leads one of the most well-respected estate planning practices in San Mateo County. During his years of practice, Mr. Luzaich has developed and implemented virtually every type of estate planning mechanism. Mr. Berki represents individuals and corporate entities in litigation and class action matters in state and federal courts throughout California. Mr. Berki’s practice involves litigating all aspects of employer rights, consumer rights, and civil rights for both plaintiffs and defendants. He has also authored and argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on a variety of legal issues including federal civil procedure, immunities, and attorney fee provisions. Mr. Berki represents plaintiffs in wildfire cases in Northern and Southern California, and was appointed by the Los Angeles Superior Court to serve on the Plaintiff’s Executive Committee in the Southern California Fire Cases against Southern California Edison, which injured thousands of families in the Santa Barbara and Montecito communities. Mr. Berki has also been appointed to the Plaintiff’s Preference Committee in the Northern California Fire Cases against PG&E, which displaced and decimated large portions of Sonoma, Napa, and Mendocino counties. He has been designated as lead trial counsel in several United States District Court cases and appointed as class counsel for cases brought in the Superior Court of California. Mr. Berki focuses his practice on complex litigation, including the representation of litigants in mass tort and catastrophic personal injury cases, employment discrimination and harassment, wage-and-hour violations, employee misclassification, civil rights violations, false claims act litigation, complex business disputes, and appellate matters. Dario de Ghetaldi

Dario de Ghetaldi

Dario de Ghetaldi’s extensive legal experience is comprised of class action and complex, trust, probate, business, and real estate litigation, in both the trial and appellate courts. His cases include elder abuse, consumer fraud and securities actions. Mr. de Ghetaldi joined our firm in 1989, after working as a judicial staff attorney at the California Court of Appeal for the First Appellate District, and a research attorney for the San Mateo County Superior Court. Mr. de Ghetaldi was co-lead counsel representing Oracle stockholders in a lawsuit against CEO Larry Ellison, who was accused of insider trading. Mr. de Ghetaldi was instrumental in winning a record-breaking settlement, when Ellison agreed to pay $100 million to charity and $22 million in attorney’s fees and costs. Mr. de Ghetaldi later represented 45 families who were victims of PG&E’s natural gas transmission line explosion in San Bruno on September 9, 2010. He is currently suing PG&E on behalf of hundreds of families who suffered losses as a result of the 70,000 acre Butte Fire in September 2015, the 22 North Bay Fires in October 2017, and the 150,000 acre Camp Fire in November 2018. From 1988 to 2018, Mr. de Ghetaldi taught Introduction to Law as an adjunct professor for the paralegal program at Canada College. He also often serves as a court appointed arbitrator for cases in the San Mateo County Superior Court.

Ms. Spiker earned her B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she was a Regent’s Scholar. She received her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law with a concentration in civil litigation. During law school, Ms. Spiker served as president of Homeless Legal Services, the only free warrant defense clinic in San Francisco, and was honored at graduation for her dedication to pro bono services. While at Hastings, Ms. Spiker also successfully represented clients in administrative appeals, and served as a mediator for San Francisco Superior Court Small Claims Department.
