Judge Carl E. Chamblee has been practicing law for over 40 years. He has been a Municipal Judge for the City of Trussville since October of 1984 and for the City of Argo for more than 30 years. He is the Past President of the Alabama Municipal Judge’s Association. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and a Minor in Finance. He continued his education at the Birmingham School of Law and graduated in 1980 with a J.D. Judge Chamblee has lectured for the Alabama Magistrates and Court Clerks, the Alabama Municipal Judges Association, and Law Enforcement Training Seminars. David was born and raised in the Huffman area of Birmingham, AL. After graduating from Huffman High School, he attended Birmingham Southern College where he earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He earned his law degree at Birmingham School of Law and has been licensed to practice law in Alabama since 2000. Following a successful career in the aviation industry, where he served in executive management and in-house counsel positions for national corporations in Birmingham, Atlanta & Tampa, David established a private law practice focusing on, Probate, Family Law, Business Law, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, and DUI. He joined the firm in 2022. Scott served his Country for over 27 years on both Active and Reserve Duty with the U.S. Army. He retired in 2014 as a Lieutenant Colonel.
