About Teresa
Teresa Arnold-Simmons was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Carolina in 1988 and her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1992, where she was managing editor of the ABA Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal. Following law school, she clerked for the South Carolina Court of Appeals. She is a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and previously served on its advisory board from 2009-2014. In 2016, she joined the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. She has tried medical malpractice and nursing home cases in Florida and South Carolina. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, pets, and volunteering with First Coast No More Homeless Pets.
