About Joseph
Joseph 'Sean' Shaughnessy was raised in Pittsburgh, PA and served in the United States Air Force attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant before being honorably discharged in 1991. He received his B.S. Cum Laude in International Affairs from Florida State University in 1994 and his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law in 1997. He joined Morgan & Morgan in 1999 and has served as Managing Partner for Personal Injury and for nearly 15 years as Managing Partner of all Central Florida offices. He has represented thousands of clients obtaining numerous seven-figure verdicts and settlements. He is a former board member and executive member of the Florida Justice Association and has been recognized with Gold and Silver Eagle Lawyer to Legacy awards.
