About Pete
Panagiotis 'Pete' V. Albanis is a partner in the South Florida offices of Morgan & Morgan. Based out of Naples, Florida, he has been a member of Morgan & Morgan's national Complex Litigation Group since 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Pete practiced in Chicago at a large defense firm where he primarily represented corporate defendants in intellectual property, securities, and breach of contract disputes. From 2009 through the present, Pete has handled mass torts, products liability, construction defect, and consumer protection matters for the firm nationwide. He has served on numerous committees in several national Multi-District Litigations including Tepezza, Chinese Drywall, Windsor Wood Clad Windows, and Taxotere/Docetaxel. In 2021, Pete was a member of the trial team where a federal jury held 3M liable for an Army Sergeant's hearing loss, resulting in $816,395 in compensatory damages plus $12.245 Million in punitive damages. Pete is an AV-Preeminent® rated attorney on Martindale-Hubbell and has been a member of the Illinois Bar since 2002 and the Florida Bar since 2010.
