About Mike
Mike Bowling has practiced law in Birmingham, Alabama since obtaining his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law in 1996. He began his practice with a large defense firm before starting his own firm in 1998. His practice over the last 20 years has consisted primarily of defense work, giving him a unique perspective on how to counter defense arguments. He has litigated cases for both plaintiff and defense in 10 states and tried cases to verdict in five. Notable results include a $5.75 million jury verdict in Georgia Federal Court against an engineering firm, a $7.3 million settlement in a breach of fiduciary duty case, and a $2.5 million settlement for a family whose mother was killed in an 18-wheeler accident. Mr. Bowling has an AV rating through Martindale-Hubbell and has served on the Council for Litigation Management and was a member of the Alabama Society of Explosives Engineers.
