About James
James Young is a complex litigation attorney at Morgan & Morgan focusing on qui tam whistleblower cases and public client matters nationwide. He earned his B.A. from the University of Florida in 1993 and his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad Law Center in 1997. After working as in-house counsel at a publicly traded company, he had a remarkable 10-year career as Special Counsel to the Florida Attorney General's office. He joined Morgan & Morgan in 2013 and established and heads up the firm's Public Client practice representing governmental clients in opioid, tobacco, automobile emissions, and environmental litigation. He has served in leadership positions in numerous multi-state Attorney General investigations and is nationally known in consumer protection, health fraud, and pharmaceutical litigation.
