About Thomas
Thomas C. Peña was born and raised in the South Florida area. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Florida in 2000 and his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2003. He began his career as an Assistant Public Defender with the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit in Sanford, Florida, representing clients in over forty jury trials. After several years at a small general practice firm in the Tampa Bay area, he relocated to Orlando in 2014 and began practicing exclusively in Social Security Disability. He is admitted to the State Bar of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. He speaks Spanish.
