About Hector

Hector Buigas is an attorney in Morgan & Morgan's Medical Malpractice Department where he focuses on the representation of victims of medical negligence and their families. Born in Miami, FL, the youngest of nine children of immigrant parents, Mr. Buigas attended Florida International University while working a full-time job and graduated with honors with a degree in English and American Literature. He earned a full scholarship to the University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating in 1998. For over 20 years, Mr. Buigas handled hundreds of cases across all medical specialties, bringing over 30 medical malpractice jury trials to verdict. He is AV-Preeminent Rated by Martindale Hubbell and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is a native Spanish speaker.
