About Shakuwra
Shakuwra Shaw was born and raised in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst at the age of 20. After working at a prominent law firm in St. Croix, she moved to Jacksonville to attend Florida Coastal School of Law, where she made the Dean's List, served as Secretary of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, and was nominated for the Phyliss Stansel Ethics & Professionalism Commencement Award. She graduated with pro bono honors. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan in 2018, she volunteered at the Office of the Public Defender in Jacksonville. Ms. Shaw is a recipient of the Florida Supreme Court 2018 Pro Bono Lapel Pin. She practices in the Government Actions and Whistleblower/Qui Tam division at Morgan & Morgan.
