About Colby
Colby A. Burt was born in Ormond Beach, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree in Sport Management from the Florida State University and earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University's Shepard Broad College of Law. After working in sports business and various litigation roles including foreclosure defense and civil litigation, he joined Morgan & Morgan in May 2018, focusing on First Party Property Insurance claims. In February 2023, he moved into the role of Attorney and Senior Director of Premises Presuit, managing staff and attorneys handling premises liability cases at the presuit stage.
