
About Raquel
Raquel A. Muñoz grew up in Washington state and served eight years with the US Army Reserves and Hawaii National Guard, deploying twice for Operation Iraqi Freedom. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She began her legal career in immigration law, then served as a state public defender in New Mexico and a federal public defender in South Texas, handling over 25 jury trials. Since 2019, she has focused on personal injury law in Michigan, representing auto accident victims and Spanish-speaking clients. She is fluent in Spanish.
