R.A. 'Brook' Patterson III began his legal career defending the rights of abused and neglected children through the Guardian Ad Litem program before attending law school. He worked with the Escambia County State Attorney's office during law school and later served as an Assistant Public Defender. He entered private practice in 1996 working as counsel for both injured workers and insurance companies, then joined Morgan & Morgan in 1998. He has represented thousands of injured workers and is active in legislative and lobbying efforts to reform Florida's Workers' Compensation Law.
