About Jessica

Jessica Carrier grew up in Puerto Rico and moved to Miami, Florida with her family in the early 1980s. Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University located in Bloomington, Indiana in December of 1998. Jessica received her Juris Doctorate in May of 2002 from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, with a Concentration in International Law and Business. She was the Senior Editor of the ILSA Journal of International & Comparative Law, Spanish Language Edition from 2001-2002. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in September of 2002. Since 2002, Jessica has primarily focused in the area of workers' compensation. Beginning in May of 2018, Jessica served the State of Florida as Senior Attorney and State Mediator for the Office of the Judges of Compensation Claims. She has served as an Adjunct Professor of Civil Pretrial Practice at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center from 2009-2010. Jessica is fluent in Spanish and Certified by the Madrid Chamber of Commerce in Business Spanish.
