Adam Strachan

About Adam

Adam Strachan is an owner and managing partner whose practice focuses on trial and appellate work. He has defended numerous ski resorts in Utah and other clients in a variety of cases, trying many before judges and juries, and arguing before the Utah Court of Appeals and Supreme Court. Notable results include a defense verdict in a wrongful death case and a $2 million recovery in a contract dispute. He earned his B.A. from the University of Southern California in 1998 and his J.D. from the University of Utah in 2002, where he was Executive Editor of the Journal of Land, Resources, and Environmental Law. His professional background includes associate positions at Duane Morris, LLP, and judicial clerkships with Hon. Lawrence J. Block and Judges Lee A. Dever and Roger Livingston. He is a former Chairman of the Park City Planning Commission and former President of the Association of Ski Defense Attorneys, and a member of the Utah and California Bar Associations.
