Kevin J. Simon is a partner with over twenty years of legal practice. He graduated magna cum laude from UCLA with a B.A. in History in 1994 and received his J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law in 1997 with honors. His extensive experience covers a wide range of substantive law areas, including antitrust, labor, environmental, and civil rights actions. He routinely serves as lead defense counsel in high-profile, multimillion-dollar litigation, including catastrophic personal injury, real estate development, and complex business disputes, both at trial and on appeal. Mr. Simon has successfully defended cases to jury verdict, obtained summary judgments, and secured Rule 12(b)(6) and 12(b)(1)/(2) dismissals. He is also involved in insurance defense litigation, representing commercial general contractors, architects, and engineers, and has played a primary role in defending serious injury cases for Utah's ski resort industry. He has been recognized as Utah’s Legal Elite™ (2007, 2008, 2009), a Mountain States SuperLawyer™ Rising Star (2009), a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (2015-Present), and on AM Best’s National List of Recommended Insurance Attorneys (2012-2016).
