About Alexis
Alexis McCain is an associate at L&B, concentrating on plaintiff’s personal injury and insurance defense. She is a first-generation college graduate from Chicago’s South Side. She worked at an insurance defense law firm for three years before law school. She earned her B.A. in political science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. During law school, she was a student attorney in the legal clinic and held leadership roles in the Student Bar Association. She received the Illinois State Bar Association’s Public Service Award in 2024.
