About Barbara

Barbara Hutter is a Senior Associate who joined Somer & Heller LLP in 2021. She has twenty-five years of legal experience as a litigator, appellate advocate, legal writer, and investigator. She obtained her law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1998 and her undergraduate degree from New York University, where she graduated with honors. Prior to joining the firm, she spent eighteen years as a prosecutor in the New York County District Attorney’s Office and later worked at two boutique law firms specializing in personal injury matters. She is admitted to practice in the Federal and State Courts of New York.
