About Billy
Billy Paredes is a trial attorney at M.R. Parker Law with extensive prelitigation and litigation experience in personal injury law. He handles law and motion, oral arguments, discovery, depositions, and trial work. He is fluent in Spanish. He graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2018 and attended Southwestern Law School, completing the SCALE Accelerated Two-Year Program in 2022. During law school, he was a Trial Advocacy Honors Program Top 16 Advocate, a member of the Consumer Law Society, and the President of the Christian Legal Society, receiving high honors and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. He also prosecuted cases for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office as a certified law clerk. He is a member of the Mexican American Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in California and federal courts.
