Blake G. Arata, Jr. was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 28, 1958 and graduated from Loyola University Law School in 1983. He is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association and several U.S. District and Appeals Courts, including the District of Columbia in 2024. He is a member of the American Association of Justice and Academy of Rail Labor Attorneys. He worked as a law clerk for the Honorable William V. Redmann before focusing on railroad cases in 1984. He is a life member of the National Registry of Who’s Who, 2001 Edition, and a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and Best Lawyers. He has been selected as a SuperLawyer for 2012 and 2017-2024.
