About Charles

Charles "Chip" Hinnant grew up in Anderson, South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of Charleston (2005-2009) and his Juris Doctor degree from the Charlotte School of Law (2009-2012). He served as Associate Justice of Finance for the Charlotte Law Moot Court Board and interned at the North Carolina Court of Appeals and Business Court. He is a recipient of the Charlotte Law Scholar award and graduated with Pro Bono Highest Honors Distinction. As a trial lawyer with Dr Ted Injury Law, he represents Plaintiffs in matters involving catastrophic personal injuries, wrongful death, worker’s compensation, nursing home abuse and neglect, medical negligence, sexual abuse, retaliatory employment discrimination, and cases implicating State and Federal Torts Claims Acts, qui tam whistleblower actions, and ERISA benefits. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
