About Chase
Chase McBride has earned recognition as one of Oklahoma’s top attorneys, having been named to the Super Lawyers Oklahoma Rising Stars list for seven consecutive years. This distinction, awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in the state, is determined by peer review and based on excellence in legal practice, professionalism, and client advocacy. A native of Pryor, Oklahoma, Mr. McBride comes from a family of attorneys. He earned his undergraduate degree in Finance, with a minor in Economics, from the University of Tulsa. He went on to complete both his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration at the University of Oklahoma. In addition to these credentials, Mr. McBride holds a Certificate in Law and Entrepreneurship from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and a Certificate in Sustainable Investing from Harvard Business School. As both a planner and litigator, Mr. McBride represents individuals, families, businesses, and public officials across a wide array of legal matters. His practice areas include general and complex civil litigation, business and contract disputes, family law, criminal defense, and the protection of civil and property rights. He has successfully argued before Oklahoma’s highest courts, defended clients in federal business litigation, structured multi-million-dollar business transactions, and represented high-asset estates in divorce proceedings. Notably, he has successfully defended four First-Degree Murder charges, three First-Degree Manslaughter charges, and numerous other felony charges. Mr. McBride has also represented public officials and high-ranking law enforcement professionals in high-profile employment and political matters. He has successfully represented four Oklahoma police chiefs in wrongful termination disputes and defended multiple elected officials throughout Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma in election-related and defamatory legal challenges. His current client base includes several large businesses and political figures statewide. He gained statewide recognition early in his career as one of the youngest private attorneys in Oklahoma history to successfully defend a First-Degree Murder case in front of Oklahoma's Court of Criminal Appeals-at just 29 years old. He later garnered headlines for other cases including securing a not guilty verdict in a double First-Degree Murder case and for helping obtain one of the largest settlements with a school district in Oklahoma history, exceeding $2.6 million. Mr. McBride’s legal scholarship has been featured in the Oklahoma Bar Journal, where he has written on topics such as Court-Ordered Grandparental Rights, Interlocutory Appeals, and Oklahoma Construction Trusts. He currently serves as President of the Mayes County Bar Association and has been the Mayes County Law Day Chair from 2018 through 2024. He has been a voting delegate to the Oklahoma Bar Association and a member of multiple OBA sections, including Business & Litigation, Family Law, Estate Planning, and Criminal Defense. In 2024, Mr. McBride was confirmed by the Oklahoma Supreme Court as an Associate Bar Examiner for the Oklahoma Board of Bar Examiners. Beyond his legal practice, Mr. McBride is deeply committed to community leadership. He serves on the Board of the Rogers State University Foundation, the Mayes County Advisory Board for All Capital Bank, and the Board of Directors for SafeNet Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for individuals and families in Rogers and Mayes Counties recovering from the effects of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
