About Chen
Chen works primarily on behalf of clients in ERISA cases and other complex litigation matters. Before joining Schlichter Bogard, Chen was Senior Counsel for the New York City Law Department, defending tort liability claims brought against the City of New York from case inception through trial. He won a 2020 Division Chief Award for outstanding performance. Chen also clerked for U.S. District Judge Staci M. Yandle of the Southern District of Illinois and worked for civil defense firms in New Jersey and New York on tort defense, insurance coverage, and contested foreclosures matters.
