When Chris was around 12 years of age, a major event occurred that ultimately determined Chris’ career path. Chris’ father, an underground coalminer, suffered a significant on-the-job injury. He recalls the remainder of his childhood fighting the Coal Company with the family’s attorney (Don M. Stacy). He was inspired by Mr. Stacy’s ability to resolve a situation that his father could not.
