Jody’s intrigue with the legal system began about the time he was becoming a teenager. He vividly recalls observing his father and uncle working to establish personal relationships with each client at the family’s law firm. Witnessing those personal connections made Jody want to pursue a law degree and follow in the family business. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee, he graduated in 2007 with a J.D. and M.B.A. from West Virginia University.
