About CLAIRE

Claire M. McNamara graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Long Island University in 1987. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Touro College - Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1990. There, she received the American Jurisprudence Award for Trial Practice and Contracts, and was a Public Interest Law Fellow in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining Milano & Wanat, Attorney McNamara worked at firms specializing in personal injury law, commercial litigation and legal malpractice. She has also served as the Chairman of the Board of Assessment Appeals for the Town of Oxford for ten years and currently acts as Moderator for state and town elections. Attorney McNamara is admitted to practice in New York State and the State of Connecticut. Her practice is concentrated on insurance defense and commercial litigation.
