D. Allen Zachary serves as a distinguished appellate attorney at our Staten Island law firm, specializing in wrongful death and personal injury cases. After graduating cum laude from Tulane University, Allen Zachary gained valuable experience as a litigation legal assistant at a prominent “Big Law” firm in Lower Manhattan. He later attended Brooklyn Law School on academic scholarships, where he earned the CALI award for Constitutional Law before graduating in 2010. D. Allen Zachary’s career flourished when he served as law clerk to the late Justice Paul G. Feinman, first at the New York State Supreme Court in New York County, and later at the Appellate Division, First Department. As a Senior Court Attorney for the Appellate Division, First Department, Zachary drafted numerous influential decisions. In late 2014, Zachary joined a leading plaintiff-focused firm as an appellate attorney. He successfully litigated numerous appeals and complex motions for his clients, sometimes creating legal precedents that better protect all injured individuals. For several consecutive years, Super Lawyers selected Zachary as a “Rising Star” - an honor reserved for only 2.5% of attorneys in the New York City Metropolitan Area. He provided research and analysis that formed the basis of numerous CLE programs and published articles.
