About David
David A. Hampton was born in Casper, Wyoming, in 1956. He was admitted to practice in Wyoming and the U.S. District Court, District of Wyoming in 1983, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit. He earned his J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1983 and his B.A., magna cum laude, from St. Thomas College in 1979. His practice areas included serious and catastrophic personal injury claims, wrongful death, and underinsurance/uninsured motorist claims. He is a member of the Wyoming State Bar, Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association, and Association of Trial Lawyers of America (Member, Civil Pattern Jury Instructions Committee, 2002-2005). He was also a Member of the Supreme Court Committee on Appellate Rules and Practice, 1990-1993. He has been acknowledged in Best Lawyers of America (2002-present) and Superlawyers (general personal injury, 2011-2012; 2015-2022).
