Michael D. Newman was born in Sedalia, Missouri, in 1959. He was admitted to practice in Wyoming and the U.S. District Court, District of Wyoming in 1988, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit. He earned his J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1987 and his B.S. from the University of Wyoming in 1982. His practice areas include Worker's Compensation, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, and Criminal Defense. He is a member of the Wyoming State Bar (Board of Law Examiners, 2001-), American Bar Association, Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association (President, 1997-1998), and Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America.
