David K. Allen was born and raised in West Columbia, SC. After graduating from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, David returned to the area and attended law school at the University of South Carolina - School of Law. David spent his first year in practice as a prosecutor in Richland County, primarily handling DUI cases.
