About Kellum

Kellum W. Allen was born in Blythewood, SC in 1951 and raised in the Eau Claire section of Columbia, SC. He received his BA degree from the University of South Carolina in 1973 and his JD degree from the USC School of Law in 1976. His first two years of law practice were as Deputy Public Defender in Greenville, South Carolina. He went into the private practice of law in 1978 with the West Columbia Law Firm of Kirkland, Taylor, Wilson, Moore, and Allen. Kellum and his son, David, opened the Allen Law Firm, P.A. in West Columbia in 2015. He brings 39 years of diverse experience to the firm particularly as a trial lawyer in the Family Court, Civil Courts, and Criminal Courts of this state. Kellum and David offer their wide background and expertise to the residents of Richland and Lexington County for legal services.
